Hope your best friend is safe & sound in Iraq.
He took some great pictures!

I wish so much I had a digital camera when I went to Egpyt. I still got some decent shots though. The B&W pics I had developed and then saved the negatives in hopes of one day getting them into the darkroom. Well, 10 years later I finally did. As you can see, theyre really scratched up. But, I was able to manipulate them into OK pics. The originals (NEG) were horrible. Very over exposed. Anyways, enjoy. These images were resized for emailing, so theyre not that big and Im too lazy to go rescan them.

you've got some great pictures here...a nice variety...thanks for sharing, and thanks for stopping by my page!

Auburn vs. Vanderbilt

View all 5 photos...
Well, once again Vanderbilt showed why they fail to have a winning season. They had poor execution, poor play calling and stupid mistakes. Today I tried the sequential shooting option on my camera to try and see what I could get. Not much different than normal. I caught a few good shots though. Its hard to get anything outside of the line of scrimmage because I just cant see the sidelines from the crowd in my way. Oh well. Enjoy.

Looking for a great Christmas present idea? If you looking to get into Digital Photography first you need to pick up a digital camera. Their are two basic types of digital cameras theirs the standard point and shoot cameras and digital SLR cameras. The best of the two is the digital SLR however their is a big cost difference. If you a professional photographer your probably looking at Digital SLRs and if your just looking for a good Sony or Canon camera you should research the models and review them making sure you select the one thats right for you. If you are thinking about getting your Disposable digital Camera make sure to check the sellers feedback rating before bidding on the camera you have decided on.

Vanderbilt football!!!!

Todays game matched Vandy with the Moccasins of UT Chattanooga. Vandy easily beat them 51-6. Im colorblind, so the panarame might be off a tad in the color department. It was also a night game and my camera just wont open up enough to capture the action as sharply as it does in the day. Im using these games as a familiarization with my camera exercise.

Y'know, it's such a small world. I have a friend who used to play football for Vanderbilt waaaaay back in the day. These are great pics!

You know the contrast is really good in these photos...and I think the blur is good to equate motion. I was expecting it to be much worse from what you were saying. Hmm.

Today my Grandfather and I went up and visited my Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfathers' gravesite. My G,G,G,G Grandfather requested to be buried on the highest point of his land because he enjoyed the view it offered so much. Along with these photos is a few other nature pics as well.

Email me your parents name & their grandparents names. I have a pretty decent famiily tree book.

I'm from Nashville, my grandfather was from Logan county, Ky. His name was Luther Edward Dillahay. Anyway, his grandfather was Edmond Dillahay, probably the same man.
An odd story goes that when my grandfather had children, he decided to change his name back to the "old" spelling, "Dillahay". Apparentely, most of the family used "Dillehay", which is how my great uncle spelled his name. Lots of them in Gallatin, and out here in Brush, CO.
I live near Denver. It'll be nice to see a Vandy kid on the field for the Broncos.

I am really impressed with my new camera. As a snapshot enthusiest, it suits my needs perfectly. These photos were taken from row 44, about 50 yds away. Not bad for point and shoot. I forgot to change the ISO, I think thatll help the exposure.

Snapshot enthusiast - I like that. Just go on and call yourself a photographer. These are good photos. Very good capture on the action.

There have been sitings of the largest and oddest species of Catfish in and around Nashville. I decided to go try my luck and see if I could capture some of these magnifcant specimans on film(memory card). I was quite successful in my hunt.

These are great all over Nashville. The spiderman fish is over on the back side of Centennial too.

The spider is kinda scarey...

Just a teeny bit off on the depth of field on that other flower, but not bad at all.
